ACC 230: Survey of Accounting Concepts

The course focuses on how accounting information can be used to make business (and personal) decisions.  These decisions cover a broad range of economic activity, from deciding how to price a product to evaluating a proposal to close a local middle school.  Although primary emphasis will be on decisions made by managers and others inside an organization, there will also be discussion of the use of accounting information by individuals outside organizations.

Restrictions

Not open to students in the Accounting major or in the Business – Admitted major or in the Business-Preference major or in the Finance Major or in the Hospitality Business Major or in the Human Resource Management Major or in the Management Major or in the Marketing Major or in the Supply Chain Management Major, or with credit in ACC 202.
